Astrology is a practice that studies how planetary movement corresponds to life on Earth. A common misconception is that the planets cause events and or dictate entire personalities. In truth, they mirror them. You can think of it as pattern recognition. For example, the planet Mercury has been long observed to be connected to communication, writing, the Roman god of the same name, the Greek god Hermes, travel, peppermint, and so much more. Someone with a heavy Mercurial influence in their chart may be naturally adept at writing or speaking. When Mercury goes Retrograde ( A.K.A. slows down in the sky), we see many report that their communications, travels, and technology meet hiccups or delays. Take note that we are not left to the mercy of the planets. They mirror ourselves back to us and offer deeper context to our lives.

Tarot is a 78 card deck used for both divination and introspection. The reader interprets the card’s imagery through various means such as symbolism, archetypes, intuition, and more.
I see Tarot as a mirror for your subconscious; it reflects back what is already present within you so you can see it more clearly. Tarot reveals what energy you are in, what might be blocking you, and what paths are available to you in the moment.
The cards don’t decide your future or chisel it in stone. They show you potential paths and you always get to choose which one you walk.
The insight was always within you. The cards just help lay it all out in front of you.
*For legal purposes, Tarot is for entertainment only.

Reiki (pronunciation: Ray-Key) is a non-invasive Japanese energy work practice that promotes healing and stress relief. It was discovered in 1922 on Mount Kurama by Usui Mikao. Since then, it has been taught and practiced all over the world. It can be done with gentle touch or none at all.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning “something mysterious, miraculous, and sacred” and Ki, meaning “the atmosphere, something unseen, and or the energy of the universe.” Together they translate to “Universal Life Force energy.” This energy is flowing within and all around us constantly.
This concept is not new or specific to Reiki. Cultures all over the world have a similar view on energy such as Chi and Prana to name a few. Regardless of what you call energy, it flows through the body and can become blocked by stress, physical conditions, and trauma.
Reiki works by channeling Universal Life Force Energy energy through a practitioner and into a recipient to get everything flowing again. Think of it like getting plugged into a charger. Reiki replenishes what has been running low, aids in restoring balance, and clears blockages. Additionally, the relaxation promoted by Reiki aids the nervous system in shifting out of activated states, such as “fight or flight,” and triggers the parasympathetic nervous system (AKA “rest and digest”). Such a relaxed state facilitates the lowering of cortisol, signals the body’s natural healing process, among other benefits.
Stress can wreak havoc on our bodies and manifest as physical symptoms. I know stress has brought me many a headache, sleepless night, and tummy issues! Reiki addresses not just the physical manifestations of stress, but also the emotional root of it. People often describe the experience as warm and or deeply relaxing.
*An important distinction here is that the energy does NOT originate from the practitioner. Rather the practitioner is a conduit for it (the charger cord to continue our analogy).
Lastly, to be abundantly clear, Reiki is NOT a substitute for medical care. It’s a complementary wellness practice that can be incorporated alongside whatever else you are doing to care for yourself. As always, please consult your medical care team before making any changes that may effect your health!

I utilize Natal Astrology, which focuses on where the cosmos were at the exact time of your birth. A Natal Chart reading can reveal personality traits, natural gifts, challenges, purpose, and so much more. I use the Placidus House System when generating Natal Charts (most Modern astrologers use this system). The Earth’s tilt and the time it takes for celestial bodies to move across the sky determine the size and placement of houses. I find that it is more specific than Whole Sign Astrology.
My Tarot reading style is centered around aiding you to be able to see yourself and your life more clearly. Clarity, however, is not always what we think it will be and may even be confrontational. That’s okay. Transformation emerges from truth. Tarot is far from “love and light only” and other such surface level platitudes. It meets us in the subconscious and communicates from that depth. Regardless of what the cards say, I will always deliver their messages with care and compassion. I see Tarot not as a chisel that writes the future in stone, for we all have volition, but as a map of potential pathways based upon our current energies. That is the beauty of Tarot to me. To not only gain insight, but also to serve as a reminder that we have the power to change our circumstances.
My approach to Reiki is heavily influenced by the way in which I was taught it. I am certified through Komyo ReikiDo, which was founded by Inamoto Hyakuten, a Japanese Buddhist Monk. I was taught a “less is more” style of Reiki. I have come to only incorporate a very short guided meditation to the beginning of my sessions to aid in transitioning my clients into a restful and relaxed state.
My Reiki sessions are offered at a distance and that isn’t something to worry over. The best analogy I can think of for this is WiFi. You don’t have to be directly wired in to receive the signal. It reaches you wherever you may be. Reiki is not bound by time or physical space.
You do not need prior experience with any of these practices. You just have to be a little curious and open to experience!
