Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms: By booking a service, submitting an intake form, or engaging with any content or communication provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not book a service or use our website.
2. Eligibility: Services provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC are available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By booking a service you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. House of Soul Alchemy LLC reserves the right to cancel any booking and issue no refund if it is determined that the client is under 18 years of age.
3. Services: House of Soul Alchemy LLC provides Astrology readings, Tarot readings, and distance Reiki services online. All services are delivered remotely via Zoom. Nothing provided through these services constitutes professional advice for medical, therapeutic, psychological, financial, or legal diagnosis or treatment. House of Soul Alchemy LLC does not provide professional counseling or advisory services. The services provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC are for entertainment purposes only.
4. Booking and Client Information: Clients are required to complete an intake form prior to their session.
For Astrology readings, clients are required to share their birth information in order for me to interpret their birth chart. For tarot readings, clients are required to complete an intake form so I know what they are wanting clarity on. For Reiki sessions, clients will complete an intake form with some personal and wellness related questions so I can show up for their session fully prepared and informed.
5. Service Delivery: House of Soul Alchemy LLC will deliver services via Zoom.
6. Recordings: Session recordings are available by request only. Recordings will be delivered within 24 hours following the appointment. Recordings will be deleted by House of Soul Alchemy LLC after delivery unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
Recordings are intended for the personal use of the recipient only. Clients may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, or use any recording provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC for commercial purposes without prior written permission from House of Soul Alchemy LLC. Clients may share their experience on social media and are welcome to tag House of Soul Alchemy LLC in doing so, however, the recording itself may not be shared publicly in part or in full without prior written permission.
7. Appointment Attendance, Rescheduling, and Late Arrival: Clients may reschedule or cancel their appointment provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Reschedules requested within 24 hours of the appointment cannot be accommodated or refunded.
In the event of a genuine emergency please reach out directly at sylvia@houseofsoulalchemy.com prior to your appointment time.
A missed appointment is a forfeited appointment. It will not be refunded or rescheduled. If you still wish to work together a completely new appointment will need to be booked and paid for.
For all appointments, I will be in the Zoom room ready and waiting from the start of your scheduled appointment time. After 10 minutes, the appointment is considered forfeited and will not be rescheduled or refunded. If you arrive within those 10 minutes the remaining time is your session time. My time is my livelihood and I ask that you choose your appointment time with care and intention.
8. Payment and Refund Policy: Payments are handled by Squarespace and refunds are available only if you cancel you appointment before 24 hours of your appointment time. Transferring an appointment to another is not permitted under any circumstances. By completing your booking you acknowledge and agree that all payments made to House of Soul Alchemy LLC are non refundable unless a cancellation request was made before 24 hours of you appointment time. Services are considered complete at the end of our Zoom call.
9. Chargebacks: By booking a service and agreeing to these terms you acknowledge that all sales are final and that you waive your right to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution or payment processor for any completed service. Any chargeback filed following the delivery of a completed service will be considered a breach of these terms and will be contested with full documentation including your signed intake form and proof of service delivery.
10. Intellectual Property: All written content, recordings, and materials provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC are the intellectual property of House of Soul Alchemy LLC and are protected by copyright. All content is intended for the personal use of the recipient only. Clients may share their experiences on social media and are welcome to tag House of Soul Alchemy LLC in doing so. Clients may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, or use any content provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC for commercial purposes without prior written permission from House of Soul Alchemy LLC.
11. Disclaimer of Liability: House of Soul Alchemy LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for how you use any information or documents provided through communication or appointments. Nothing contained in any appointment or communication constitutes professional advice for medical, therapeutic, psychological, financial, or legal diagnosis or treatment. House of Soul Alchemy LLC does not provide professional counseling or advisory services. All services are for entertainment purposes only. By engaging with any service, content, or communication provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own choices, decisions, and outcomes and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless House of Soul Alchemy LLC and its owner from any and all claims, losses, damages, or liability of any kind arising from or related to the use of its services.
Astrology and Tarot readings are offered for entertainment purposes only and are not intended to predict future events or substitute for professional advice of any kind.
Replenish and Restore Reiki sessions provided by House of Soul Alchemy LLC are intended as a complementary wellness practice only and are not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Reiki does not diagnose, cure, or prevent any physical, mental, or emotional condition. Sessions are conducted remotely via distance healing and do not involve physical touch or in person contact. Any health information shared is collected solely to personalize your session and is kept strictly confidential. Clients are encouraged to continue any existing medical treatment and to consult a licensed medical professional before making any changes to their health care. Results are not guaranteed and may vary by individual. House of Soul Alchemy LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for any outcomes related to Reiki sessions.
12. Right to Refuse Service: House of Soul Alchemy LLC reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any individual at its sole discretion.
13. Privacy: House of Soul Alchemy LLC collects personal information including name, pronouns, and any additional information provided through intake forms or communications solely for the purpose of delivering requested services. This information will not be sold, shared, or distributed to any third party. Client information is stored with Acuity and handled with the utmost care and confidentiality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is collected, used, and stored.
14. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of South Carolina.
15. Changes to Terms: House of Soul Alchemy LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the House of Soul Alchemy LLC website. Continued use of services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
